What is WELL?

Optimal physical and mental health, sometimes called wellness, is particularly important for police officers, as policing is one of the most stressful occupations there is. That is why we have developed the Wellness Education and Life Skills for Law Enforcement training program.   • Christie Jackson

    Christie Jackson, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry in New York City.
  • Paul Smith

    Paul M. Smith is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving his B.S. in Sociology. He served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and as a City of Madison Police Officer.
